Caz: Katie walked along from school following her usual path when she came across a beaten, thin, miserable looking horse. The grey gelding stared at her with dull, brown eyes pleaing her to help him and end his suffering. A lady came ovr and yelled, "Oi stay away from my horse," the big, fat lady threw a bucket a tthe horse who turned and galloped away. Katie ran home tearfully to tell her mother who had just won a large amount of money in a competition. "Come on then. We'll get him," Katie's mother decided just as horrified as her daughter. They argued with the lady until she sold the horse and Katie was warned she would have to go to the riding school nearby to see if they would help her with Maverick, her brave, grey gelding.
