The Royal Couple

(0) The King sat drearily in his wide velvet, gold inlaid chair. His wife was home. AGAIN. A small, timid looking steward rushed over to him, bearing a tray loaded with masterpieces of sugar, which he tossed over the arm of his chair. He was in a nasty mood, and the steward was obviously very sorry that he had been sent to talk to him. "Well?!"he barked, sending the little steward flying across the huge throne room. "What is it, you little rat?!!" "You most regal splendor..." "Don't call me that! That's what they call my wife!" "Er...Your most royal majesty?? Your wife has come home after her long, weary journey and wished to see you. She has been long gone and..." "Alright, cut with blabber. Tell her she can come to the throne room." I was waiting when the timid little steward came back. Immediately, I grilled him about the king's responses. He just muttered something about the king being in a not very excellent mood and would your most regal splendor please go to the throne room to be recieved by your--loving husband? Hah. The fool. He thinks he can control me with his manhood and his position and brutalness. Who could be more wrong? (Sara Chili, Age 8 to 12, 3/9/2005 1:32:19 PM, TheRoyalCouple)

(4) Shana, the teenaged daughter of the king and queen, shook her head, and marched into the next room, her golden curls fanning out behind her, "Father!" She called, looking for all the world a very rich, very privalaged girl who had never been denied a thing in her life. Indeed, gowned in pink silk robes, she looked extraordinarily wealthy. Her hair was pinned up in an ornate fashion, her feet covered in slippers of gold satin. (Katherine, Age 13 to 18, 9/23/2005 11:35:52 PM, TheRoyalCouple)
