(0) The shifty mist circled the moon as harry lay on the soft grass beside hermione.He knew that ginny wouldnt mind if he had a friendly conversation with her?Surely.But the thought of asking hermione about victor krum, the worlds best seeker might make her upset. After their breakup, victor had been in an absolute uproar. Smashing things, cutting himself, even dimoloshing his broomstick up had occoured. (4) "After all that we have been through together," Ginny screamed, tears running down her face, "After all the secrets we've shared you want me to forget about you and just let you dump me for her?" Harry walked over to Ginny, stroked her cheek. "I'm sorry, I didn't know what I wanted, I wasn't sure what kind of girl... Hermione so - it's just, well, I love her. I never meant to hurt you. Please forgive me." Hermione stood, shocked, watching the emotions displayed before her. She looked at Ginny and Harry, remembered all the love between them and realised her mistake. "Harry," Hermione aid a little uneasily, "I was mistaken, please, forget all that was said. I can't come between two people who are obviously so perfect for each other. I'm sorry. (9) Harry, still doubting his love for Ginny, took Ginny in his arms and whispered, "We were always meant to be." Harry looked back at Hermione, looking more beautiful than ever in the morning frost. (10) Harry and Ginny's relationship then went on as nothing had changed, well almost. Harry found himself thinking of Hermione more and more. Ginny seemed to notice his distantness and constantly asked him if he was ill. One night, Harry snook into the girl's dormitorie and found Hermione there fast asleep. As he stroked her hair and kissed her cheek he raised his wand, shouting "Avada Kedava!" Hermione's body hung limpl in his arms and he sobbed. But he had to do it. He had to kill her. His relationship with Ginny depended on it. Harry dragged Hermione's body through the school, careful not to be seen. He then trudged deep into the Forbidden Forest, stopping to rest agaist a tree. The moonlight washed over Hermione's face, making her look almost god like. Then, Harry realized how selfish his act had been.
